Developer MySoft came up with the appropriately named MyVideoConverter application to meet all your video conversion needs. No matter what video format you have, this application will convert it to any other format. That’s because MyVideoConverter provides support for all the popular video formats out there. On top of that, MyVideoConverter can also split and join videos.

The MyVideoConverter installation file is of 14.9MB. The application can be installed on top of any Windows version, from Windows 98 up to Windows 7. A setup wizard will guide you through a straightforward installation process during which you will get to choose the installation directory but you won’t get to pick if you want a desktop shortcut or not.

The user friendly interface will not pose any problems to any user, not even a novice. You have buttons for the main functions at the top, a window that displays all the videos you want to convert in the middle, and a Properties pane to the right. To convert a video file, just select the “Add one file” option from the “Add” menu, pick the format you want to convert that file to, then hit the “Start” button. In very little time MyVideoConverter will be done with the conversion job. You can convert video files among VCD, SVCD, DVD, AVI, ASF, WMV, SWF, 3GP, MOV, MPEG, RM, MP4, PSP, iPod, iPhone, and FLV.

There is something else that MyVideoConverter can do: it can take a larger video file and split it into smaller bits, and it can take several smaller bits and join them together in a larger video file.

The MyVideoConverter trial is not time-limited or feature-limited. You can use a fully functional trial version for as long as you want. What you will have to put up with is a watermark on the output video. To get rid of the watermark, you have to get a license.

This easy to use application rapidly converts video files from one format to another.

Pros

Simple installation process; MyVideoConverter can be installed on just about any Windows edition. A simple, easy to figure out interface. Support for all the popular video formats is provided. MyVideoConverter can convert video files from one format to another and it can split/join videos. The trial version is fully functional and can be used for an unlimited amount of time.

Cons

The trial version puts a watermark on the output video.
